I am a huge fan of minced turkey meat. I find it to be one of the most versatile, lean and healthy ground meat options, not to mention, very flavourful. You will find I use it often in many of my recipes, or in recipes that I try to turn into healthier versions of themselves!
These turkey burgers are an amazing go-to meal on nights when you don’t have as much time to prep. Better yet, they can be made ahead and frozen as raw patties. When you’re in a pinch, just pull them out of the freezer, slap them on the grill frozen, or even pop them into the oven during colder months, when access to the BBQ is limited.
I usually serve these on brioche buns, but for a healthier option, I use iceberg lettuce to make it a lettuce burger. You can also eat the patties on their own, served with a side salad – just as delish!
I also discovered Costco’s organic, frozen sweet potato fries this past spring, and they make a wonderful addition to these burgers. They are definitely the best frozen sweet potato fries that I have tried!
Enjoy! XX
